As the story unfolds, Kang Sun-min becomes determined to solve the mysteries surrounding Park Young-Eon's death and the haunting occurrences at their school. With the help of her friend Cho-Ah, they begin unraveling the truth behind Young-Eon's death.

They discover that Young-Eon was a talented singer who had ambitions of becoming a professional singer. However, she faced intense competition and pressure from her fellow students, particularly from a popular singer named Ji-Won. This led to a toxic and intense rivalry between Young-Eon and Ji-Won.

Young-Eon's relentless pursuit of her dreams started to take a toll on her mental health, and she became increasingly isolated and depressed. In an attempt to gain an advantage over Ji-Won, she turned to the school's music teacher for guidance, but he exploited her vulnerability instead.

Tragically, the music teacher took advantage of Young-Eon's trust and physically assaulted her. This assault ultimately led to her death. The teacher, consumed by guilt, committed suicide shortly after Young-Eon's death.

As Sun-min and Cho-Ah dig deeper into Young-Eon's past, they uncover the truth about another student, Hyo-Jung, who also died in the same elevator trunk. It is revealed that Hyo-Jung was caught in a love triangle with Young-Eon and Ji-Won. The jealousy and manipulation between the three girls eventually led to Hyo-Jung's death.

Sun-min becomes determined to bring justice to her deceased friend and expose the truth. With the guidance of Young-Eon's ghost, Sun-min confronts Ji-Won, revealing the full extent of her manipulations and cruelty. Ji-Won finally confesses to her role in Young-Eon and Hyo-Jung's deaths.

In the end, Sun-min and Young-Eon find closure as the truth behind Young-Eon's death is revealed. Sun-min's determination to seek justice restores her friend's peace and allows her to move on. The movie serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of toxic rivalries and the importance of forgiveness and understanding.
