Yardie is a British crime drama film set in Jamaica and London. The story revolves around a young Jamaican boy named Dennis, who witnesses his older brother's assassination during a gang-related shootout in 1973 Kingston. In the aftermath, a notorious gangster and Don named King Fox takes the boy under his wing, providing him with a home and offering him protection.
Fast forward ten years, and Dennis, now known as D, has grown up to become a member of the Tappa crime family, led by King Fox. D is sent to London on a mission to deliver a package to a contact named Rico, who is connected to the same criminal underworld. While in London, D gets drawn into a dangerous world of drugs, violence, and criminal activities that he desperately tries to navigate.
