"And Then I Go" is a drama film adapted from the book "Project X" by Jim Shepard. It tells the story of Edwin and his best friend, Flake, two socially isolated and troubled teenagers who are constantly ridiculed and demoralized at school.

Edwin, a quiet and introverted boy, is constantly bullied and targeted by his classmates. Flake, on the other hand, is an eccentric and rebellious teenager who often acts out to gain attention. The daily torment they face at school takes a toll on their mental health, leading them down a path of depression and isolation.

Desperate for an escape from their miserable lives, Edwin and Flake start contemplating an act of vengeance. They devise a plan to carry out a school shooting to retaliate against their tormentors, as well as the society they feel has rejected them. This idea becomes an obsession for them, providing a twisted sense of relief as they fantasize about being in control and making others suffer.

However, as their plan progresses, Edwin's moral conscience starts to kick in. He grapples with the weight of his decision, battling between his desire for revenge and his empathetic nature. Meanwhile, Flake becomes more consumed by his rage and alienation, pushing him further towards the edge of sanity.

As the film unfolds, it delves into the complexities of adolescent emotions, exploring the themes of bullying, mental health, and the consequences of isolation. It presents a powerful and provocative narrative, aiming to shed light on the root causes and repercussions of such incidents in society.

Set against the backdrop of a thought-provoking and grim subject matter, "And Then I Go" takes viewers on an emotional journey, highlighting the desperate and often overlooked struggles of misunderstood youth trapped in a world that doesn't understand them.
