This device allows therapists to enter their patient's dreams, providing a deeper understanding of their subconscious and helping them overcome their psychological issues. The DC Mini is intended to be used exclusively for therapeutic purposes.

Dr. Atsuko Chiba, an intelligent and dedicated psychiatrist, is one of the chief researchers involved in the development of the DC Mini. However, she also possesses a separate identity as Paprika, a persona she assumes when she enters the dream world to assist her patients. Paprika is known for her youthful appearance and bold demeanor in the dream realm.
