After getting fired, the protagonist, Sylvia, is devastated and unsure of what to do next. She moves in with her younger brother, Leo, who lives in a small apartment in Seattle. Leo's best friend, Byron, also lives there, and Sylvia finds herself having to navigate her new living situation while dealing with her emotional baggage.
