In the film "Celebrity," writer Lee Simon finds himself in a mid-life crisis as both his career and personal life hit a standstill. Frustrated with his stagnant life, Lee decides to divorce his bashful wife, Robin, in an attempt to find a new purpose.

Lee embarks on a new career as an entertainment journalist, diving into the glamorous and often superficial world of celebrity culture. His new job takes him to the swankiest corners of Manhattan, where he covers high-profile events and rubs shoulders with the elite.
