In the small town of Mount Barker, Western Australia, Colin and Les have been feuding for decades, resulting in a deep divide in their family and community. Both brothers are sheep farmers, but their pride and stubbornness have kept them distant from each other.

One day, Les' prized ram, named "Rambo," falls sick and is diagnosed with a highly contagious and deadly illness known as ovine Johne's disease. Authorities from the Department of Agriculture order a drastic measure to prevent the spread of the disease: a complete cull of all sheep in the valley. This devastating news shakes the entire farming community, including Colin and Les.

Despite their differences, Colin and Les realize that they need to put their animosity aside and work together to save their herd and livelihoods. With the help of Jill, a veterinarian and their childhood friend, the brothers hatch a plan to secretly hide their sheep and convince the authorities that the cull is unnecessary.

As they embark on this risky mission, the brothers face numerous challenges, including maintaining the secrecy of their plan and dealing with suspicious neighbors. However, their shared love for their sheep and the desire to save their family legacy drives them forward.

Throughout their journey, the brothers begin to understand the importance of family and community. They uncover hidden truths and long-buried emotions that have kept them apart for so long. As they strive to reunite their family and bring their community back together, Colin and Les discover the power of forgiveness and the resilience of the human spirit.

As the deadline for the cull approaches, tensions rise, and the brothers face a race against time to save their beloved sheep. Will they be able to keep their plan a secret, repair their broken relationship, and overcome the odds to save their herd and the community they cherish?

"Rams" is a heartwarming tale of redemption, forgiveness, and the indomitable bond between family and community. Set against the backdrop of remote Western Australia, the film explores the resilience of farmers facing adversity and showcases the extraordinary lengths people will go to protect what is most important to them.
