The Double Life of Victoria.

The struggling soprano, named Victoria Grant, is befriended by a flamboyant and charismatic gay cabaret performer named Toddy. Toddy comes up with the idea for Victoria to disguise herself as a man named Victor and perform as a female impersonator in his club. The act becomes a huge success, with audiences believing Victor/Victoria to be a man pretending to be a woman.

As Victor/Victoria's popularity grows, Victoria finds herself falling for a Chicago gangster named King Marchand, who is initially unaware of her true identity. Their budding romance becomes complicated when King starts to question his own feelings towards Victor/Victoria, not realizing that he is actually falling for a woman.

Meanwhile, Victoria's career as Victor/Victoria starts to blur the lines between her personal and professional life. She struggles with her own identity and feelings, unsure of who she truly is and who she wants to be with. As King begins to suspect the truth, Victoria must decide whether to reveal her secret and risk losing everything she has worked for, or continue the charade and potentially lose the man she loves.
