Fly Me to the Moon follows the story of Elizabeth "Liz" Anderson, a successful career-oriented woman in her early thirties who has always been haunted by her family's curse. Every first marriage in her family ends in divorce, and Liz is determined to break this cycle before marrying her long-time boyfriend, Andrew.

Feeling the pressure of her pending marriage to Andrew, Liz becomes obsessed with finding a solution. During her research, she stumbles upon an old family legend that claims if a member of the cursed family marries a total stranger as their first spouse, the curse will be broken. Fueled by desperation, Liz becomes convinced that she needs to marry a random stranger before tying the knot with Andrew.

With time running out before her wedding date, Liz embarks on a spontaneous adventure to find the perfect stranger to marry. She travels to different cities, attends social events, and even explores unconventional methods like speed dating and personal ads. Liz's quirky and daring personality attracts many suitors, but she struggles to find someone who understands the gravity of her situation and is willing to participate in her plan.

Just as Liz loses hope, she meets Jonathan, a charming and free-spirited travel photographer. Their instant connection and shared understanding of the importance of breaking the family curse lead Liz to propose her peculiar plan to him. Surprisingly, Jonathan agrees, being enchanted by Liz's determination and playful spirit.

As Liz and Jonathan hastily and secretly plan their wedding, they find themselves falling in love with each other. However, the looming question of whether their marriage is based on love or a desperate attempt to break the curse haunts them both.

Meanwhile, Liz's boyfriend Andrew becomes suspicious of her unusual behavior and starts digging deeper into her actions. With the wedding date nearing, Liz must navigate the complexities of her feelings for Jonathan, her dedication to breaking the curse, and the potential heartbreak that awaits her if she strays from her original path.

Fly Me to the Moon explores the themes of love, family expectations, and the lengths one will go to break a curse. In the end, Liz must discover what truly matters to her: succumbing to societal pressures and fulfilling expectations, or following her heart's desire, even if it means breaking tradition.
