Whispers of the Abyss

In the backwoods community where Ada resides, there is a deeply ingrained belief in a supernatural entity that dwells within a mysterious pit located in the surrounding woods. This pit has the power to communicate its desires to a talented potter named Dawai, who crafts jugs with faces resembling the individuals marked for sacrifice.

Ada, who is pregnant with her brother's child after a secret affair, discovers that her own face is on one of these jugs. Fearful for her unborn child's life and determined to protect it at all costs, Ada hides the jug deep within the woods, hoping to keep her identity a secret and save herself from being sacrificed.

As time goes on, it becomes evident that the creature from the pit is indeed real and possesses an insatiable hunger for blood. Mysterious deaths begin to occur within the village, which are regarded as punishment for not adhering to the will of the pit. The village inhabitants, frightened and desperate, try to uncover the identity of the person marked for sacrifice in order to appease the creature.

Meanwhile, Ada struggles to keep her secret hidden, while also dealing with the moral dilemma of sacrificing herself or protecting her unborn child. Her relationship with her brother becomes strained as suspicions rise within the community, and they both have to confront the consequences of their actions.

Tensions escalate as the creature closes in on the truth, leading to a final climactic confrontation between Ada, her loved ones, and the villagers who are willing to do anything to please the pit. In the end, whether Ada sacrifices herself to protect the village or finds a way to defy the creature's demands, the movie raises thought-provoking questions about sacrifice, responsibility, and the power of supernatural forces.
