During their journey, Wong Fei-Hong accidentally switches his father's ginseng package with a stolen box of valuable Chinese artifacts, which were to be smuggled by the foreigners. As they board the train to return home, Wong Fei-Hong's father discovers the switch and confronts him in anger. Disappointed by his son's irresponsible behavior, Wong Kei-Ying scolds him and refuses to speak to him for the rest of the journey.

At the train station, Wong Fei-Hong encounters Aunt Yee, a family friend who advises him to return the stolen artifacts. However, Wong Fei-Hong's loyalty to his father causes him to hesitate, and he decides to keep the artifacts hidden instead.

Meanwhile, the British traders and their henchmen, aware of the artifact switch, start searching for Wong Fei-Hong to reclaim their stolen goods. Desperate to get the artifacts back, they kidnap Wong Fei-Hong's stepmother and hold her hostage, demanding the return of the artifacts in exchange for her release.

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, Wong Fei-Hong seeks help from his martial arts mentor, Beggar So. Beggar So, known for his mastery of the Drunken Boxing style, agrees to train Wong Fei-Hong and help him retrieve the stolen artifacts and rescue his stepmother.

As Wong Fei-Hong undergoes intense training in the Drunken Boxing style, he starts mastering the techniques that use unpredictable moves and tricks to confuse and outmaneuver his opponents. With Beggar So's guidance, Wong Fei-Hong becomes adept at using his drunken movements to fight off multiple enemies, even while under the influence of alcohol.

Equipped with his newfound skills, Wong Fei-Hong confronts the British traders and their henchmen in a thrilling final battle. Fighting his way through a series of adversaries, Wong Fei-Hong employs his Drunken Boxing techniques to defeat them all.
