That’s Wild follows the journey of the three boys – Ahmani, Charles, and Zach – as they leave behind the streets of Atlanta for the rugged terrain of the Colorado wilderness. The boys are part of a program called “Outdoor Promise” which aims to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to experience the great outdoors and challenge themselves in new ways.
As the boys embark on their adventure, they face numerous physical, mental, and emotional challenges. They must learn to navigate the treacherous terrain, endure harsh weather conditions, and push themselves beyond their comfort zones. Additionally, they grapple with their own personal struggles and past traumas, finding strength and resilience within themselves as they strive to conquer the mountains both metaphorically and literally.
