Antonio, feeling nostalgic and wanting to reconnect with his past, decides to visit his childhood home in Sicily. However, he discovers that the house is about to be sold at auction. Determined to save it, he embarks on a journey to win back what was once his.

In an attempt to gather funds, Antonio reaches out to his childhood friend, Agostino, whom he hasn't seen in years. Agostino, now living abroad, is leading a completely different life. Reluctant at first, Agostino agrees to join Antonio on the journey to help save their childhood home.

During their road trip, the old friends encounter various challenges and conflicts that arise from their contrasting personalities and changed lives. Antonio, who has always been impulsive and adventurous, yearns for a different life away from the small town he grew up in. On the other hand, Agostino is more settled and has embraced stability in his new environment.

As they travel through different European countries in a truck, old conflicts resurface, shedding light on the unresolved issues and tensions that existed between Antonio and Agostino. They also confront new revelations about their past that test their friendship.

Through their journey, both Antonio and Agostino are forced to confront their own personal demons and come to terms with the choices they have made in life. The road trip becomes a metaphorical journey of self-discovery and reconciliation as they navigate the roads of Europe and their own emotions.

Will the two old friends be able to mend their broken friendship and save their cherished childhood home? Or will their differences and past conflicts drive them further apart? Drive Me Home explores themes of friendship, nostalgia, and the search for identity as Antonio and Agostino navigate the twists and turns of their journey.
